NETASQ’s F2000

UTM appliance is a flexible security solution designed to maintain high levels of traffic in complex network infrastructures.

The NETASQ F2000 IPS-Firewall is a dedicated platform for service providers or large central sites having the need for a high productivity, ensuring availability of their applications at a very competitive price.

Like the F5000 appliance, the F2000 appliance integrates a redundant power supply and hard disks in RAID1.  It can support up to 24 interfaces, of which 12 are Gigabit interfaces and can ensure 1.7 Gigabit throughput even when intrusion prevention has been activated.

GIGABIT INTRUSION PREVENTION
The F2000’s IPS-Firewall performance scales up to 1.7 Gbps, 250,000 concurrent sessions and 15,000 VPN tunnels.

Real-time intrusion prevention and content analysis are applied while maintaining these Gigabit throughputs by NETASQ’s proprietary IPS: ASQ.


SCALABILITY
Supports up to 24 Ethernet interfaces and can handle up to 12 Gigabit (copper or fiber) interfaces ideal for carriers, service providers and large enterprises.


RELIABILITY
Besides the high availability function, the F2000 appliance also supports a redundant power supply and SCSI hard disks in RAID1 in order to alleviate any hardware breakdown.


ADMINISTRATION SUITE
Each NETASQ F2000 appliance comes with a complete Administration Suite. This suite consists of Firewall Manager, Monitor and Reporter.

All these tools have an intuitive and user-friendly Windows-based GUI, which allows easy installation, configuration, monitoring, and reporting of your UTM appliance.

NETASQ Global Administration allows companies, integrators or service providers to manage large deployments of NETASQ UTM appliances from a central location.

An easy-to-use graphical user interface enables you to centrally update, monitor and configure NETASQ appliances.

NETASQ Global Administration enables performing tedious tasks (such as updating a large number of licenses, collecting logs or performing backups) from a central location, while saving an enormous amount of time.
